Why does your friend want to know?

My first guess would have been the c word since it is very rarely used even in films but at the back of my mind I remember reading something that said the BBC considered the word MotherF**ker worse.

Edit : Just confirmed the ITC consider MotherF**cker the worst swear word

You can say any word on TV after the watershed if it has a justifiable editorial context. It would be quite hard to explain an editorial context for c*nt though, unless you were doing a documentary on the history of the word c*nt I suppose! Then you could say it.

in britain i don't think there is any words which are illegal on tv. ricky gervais as far as im aware was the first person to use the c word on live tv. c4 11 oclock show 1998/1999. did'nt do his career any harm 2 years later he's picking up baftas. i think religious defamation is against all strict guidelines.

From what I've seen and heard there doesn't seem anything which is out of bounds. I'm no prude but I think it's a real shame. It's not funny and it certainly isn't clever. Just part of the dumbing down we're all having to endure, I suppose.
