I do tip. I think they may make a decent base wage but I think it's still seen as part of a service industry that gets tips so they may not get minimum for base wage. (Not certain on that.) I used to work in a coffee house so I appreciate what they are doing and I usually leave a dollar either at the counter or window.

No, I do not tip at Starbucks or Caribou Cafe. If I buy something at Caribou Cafe I always try to leave a gospel tract. You see we are very close to the end of the world (your preacher, priest, or theologian won't tell you this). God has chosen some out of the mass of miserable humanity to be His children. All of mankind are vile sinners and have broken the law of God (Jesus Christ). The penalty is to go to hell for eternity but the Lord Jesus determined to save some of these rebels. If you are a rebel, read the Bible and pray the Lord for mercy. "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God."

No I haven't. To be honest, it never occurred to me to tip!
Saying that, the Starbucks I have been in didn't have waitress service. So if I've got my coffee from the counter, who would I tip? myself?

I've never tipped at Starbucks. I didn't ever think you were required to.

Yes I do. A standard tip for a place like Starbuck's would be 10% so generally that's how much I will tip.

I usually leave my coin change in their tip jar. I believe they do get a decent hourly wage. If I order 2 or more drinks, I will leave a dollar or more.
I'm a sucker for tipping. Comes from many years working in the service industry.

Absolutely not, even though I go to the same one everyday, and love the people who work there. The prices are high enough, and you still have to prepare your own regular coffee.(cream, sugar etc.)

Toss a little change if a fixed drink. Not if coffee. Is'nt the price high enough. Keep buying though I have their stock.
