When they first came out it was Blur but after country house the music went downhill and oasis triumphed!
Oasis is def the best! One of the best concerts I have been to!

Oasis ran out of ideas after wonderwall, whereas Blur have constantly tried new ideas and broken new boundaries.

Hello? You just stepped off the Tardis? Blur are down to a partially functioning three piece (overshadowed nowadays by Damon's other project with Gorillaz) and Oasis - well they were amusing for a while....

Blur, definitely. Oasis started out strong but they turned out to be nowhere near as interesting as Blur later became.
Both bands are old and more or less inconsequential now, though. take a look at some of the newer british bands, you'll love 'em!

Fantastic question! Against my better judgement, I'd have to say Oasis because I can think of more songs of theirs that I like compared to Blur, but at the same time Blur's "Tender" is one of my favourite songs of all time.

oasis they r raw and inspiring and 10 yrs on their early records are still the best the measure of a great band, unlike most of the crap out there these days wish u get bored of listening too even after a week
