I thought it was brave and he spoke what some others are thinking but afraid to say.

There were two aspects of it that I took particular notice to:

1. When he said something about Bush was there just yesterday and speaking as though he was the ruler of the world.
- Did you notice the ppl in the audience shaking their head in agreement when he said that?

2. The amount of ppl that applauded also caught my attention.

Seriously... I have been predicting for 4 years now that Bush's actions and our arrogance is going to eventually isolate us to the extreme that the world is going to gang up on us and take us down. Maybe not by force but this can be done economically or socially.

If we do not stop our extreme arrogance and aggression soon, we are going to learn the hard way that our true enemy is ourselves... our own behavior is going to be our downfall.

No it neither bothers me nor is he right. Chavez is simply coming out with rhetoric while he has an opportunity on the world stage to satisfy his own people of his abilities as an international statesman. Unfortunately when he has to leave that stage and return to his own country he has much to do to even come across as a national statesman. Given that Venezuela is the world's fifth largest oil producer its people are among the poorest in South America. If Chavez cannot stamp out corruption and turn this round quickly it may be the last time he takes the world stage.

It is far too easy too blame America and Bush for his oil rich countries poor population. Chavez and company simply exploits American policy as a ruse to mask his greed. His people are dirt poor while his country is floating on an oil field. Saddam did it too. Now achminijhad in Iran. Blaming America for their failures in an effort to gain sympathy around the world is nothing new and it will continue as long as we are the super power.

I think he referred to President Bush as the devil, I heard nothing about him being a Satan worshiper. I think you are embellishing an already asinine comment. Regardless, Chavez is a waste of skin, who cares what he says?

What he said doesn't bother me because I think I'm immune. I've watched a lot of his speeches / tirades over the past couple of years and watched him on Venezuelan TV when I was down there a couple of months ago. He routinely puts down Bush, frequently referring to him as "Mr. Danger". One thing to remember about Chavez is he is in the midst of a re-election campaign. As with Bush, his speech was aimed as much to his political base as it was to the international community.

No it does no longer difficulty me. He needed his pals in Cuba and Iran to furnish him a pat on the back and at the same time as doing so were given his quarter-hour on the international level, before this speech how lots of you knew who Chavez changed into? we've higher fish to fry.

bother? lets c in this way:

If some one scold u infront of ur wife, then it is shame for u and for ur wife..right??U may hav habit of show off too much or u may hav habit of talkin too much or anythin but u and ur wife will feel ashame...rite?

Same case if a ruler tell bad on another ruler in PUPLIC it wil bother both even the peoples who are ruled under him will feel shame to be ruled under him..

Here, Even though Bush spoke too much on the day b4 chavez speech,he didnt use any harmful words? And that was missed in the case of chavez speech..

Now,i like to say a say a famous sayin by ANNA[former chief minister of Tamil nadu-india]

"Speech or not yawnings" - it means u can yawn when ever u want but u shouldnt speak wat ever u like...

A good leader is the one who use Less Words and should prove in development of the country and not in shouting others..

If he is not giving respect to a country's president then how other peoples will give?[even though bush may did any thing ,as a ruler of gr8 nation all should give respect.]

So wat i say is chavez wat he spoke[in public] is completely wrong..he should hav scolded him in private or should shut the mouth...Its not nice to speak bad abt som1 in their absent....

Think abt it? u wil also feel abt it...
