My mate opens the radio through real player. A free one to download.
He lets it run in the background for an hour or so on mute then starts the recording from the beginning and turns up the sound. When he comes to a track or feature he does not like he forwards the track or feature.

there are many ways ... one of which i found is if u have the creative EAX device u can set the recording device to "wat u hear" mode which basically means that ur PC records wat runs out into ur speakers, while still playing it ... V V useful, u can ask the program to record into many formats mp3/wma/.wav etc.
u will need an audio clean-up program for this mode to work perfectly, however u can do it without the clean up its just as good but with higher pitch noises it may crackle or not sound as good as the parent file. alternitly u can also lower the recording volume.
u can also get an MP3 player (for example iriver IFP-790 (which i have) and use a spare fonejak lead to plug into the MP3 player and into ur speaker port on ur PC and set the mp3 player to record-line-in-mode this will get the mp3 player to record in its own codec (which u shud have the software to convert it into mp3/wma) then u can use that sound file , however i find that from this option unless u have anti click/hiss/error correction modes on ur media player the sound tends to b slightly grainy
hope this is of some help :)

Well you can't record it, but you can save it to your computer.
First:
Go to Start, programmes, accessories, system tools, disk cleanup. Then run it and when it finishes, you will see a box and in that box it should say temporary internet files. click on it and click view files. You will then see some folders. Look in each folder and find the video streaming file. You can then save it to a folder by right clicking it and clicking send to. Good Luck!

There's a lovely little free download called audacity (look it up in google).
Run it in the background and just hit the record button when you want to capture whatever's coming through your stereo mixer.
Works a treat for me. You can export the finished file as wav or mp3.

Yes, there are many ways to achieve this using traditional Hardware, loop though to your mic input and a standard recorder package, or even some 'stream' recorders designed to do specifically that. - One word of warning on the latter though - a lot of them are riddled with spyware and trojans.

You can do this with a program called Total Recorder.
Another good one is XFileGet but I don't know if it's available anymore...
