I like to sit in the car with my friends watching them.
One ot the best thunder storms I have seen was in Florida. I watched it for hours.

Do you like them and where was your best one?

p.s. Here in Belfast in the UK it's raining but no T & L yet.

The best thing about thunder and lightning is when I find myself being the only calm person, and everyone else around me is screaming and running around in a blind panic.

I love bad weather. I leave the windows open to hear the sound of rain at night. It helps me get some sleep. It's as good as a glass of warm milk before bed. I sometimes wish it would rain more often.

One day two or three summers back, I witnessed a high storm overhead. Continuous thunder, but no visible lightning and no rain. For three hours. It sounded like two gods having a punch - up in Asgard.

Marvellous.

I think that it's peaceful to watch thunder storms, The best storm that I had seen was out side my window, I live directly across from a park in Scotland and the lightning was travelling almost the full length of the park spreading out like a hand.

I love watching Thunder and Lightening. The coolest one was at the end of August i was in Lincoln camping and the storm past over us and no lightening touched down but the thunder was rumblin it got into the distance in front of us and we stood in the middle of the campsite watching it. The other one was at my best friends house it was a reasonably new build and this thunderstorm was above the house and the whole house shook it was great fun!!!

Yes, facinated by lightning. I've even filmed thunderstorms before at high speed to watch the lightning form in slow motion. It's quite remarkable how it works its way down to the ground. Years ago, we had hours of continous lightning without any thunder. The sky lit up all over and it was amazing to watch.

I like thunder and lightning.
In South India, thunders and lightning are not usually fatal. Infact, they are quite rare. I like walking unprotected in the rain either alone or with a friend I truly trust.

Absolutely hate them - I'd rather hide under a table out of the way until it's gone. If I'm driving through a thunderstorm I can end up shaking like a leaf!!!

If I'm in the safety of my own home (and feeling VERY brave) I might sneak a look out of the window VERY QUICKLY and then dive back under cover.
