I did the same over my table i cleaned it up straight away but it was too late and took the varnish off!! I had to re varnish the table!!! There is nothing you can do now as it would have took the paint off, i suppose you could try painting them.

If your sky box is black, use a permanent marker and colour it in.
On your video, buy some silver car spray, or whatever colour your video is, remove the top part of it and spray. Make sure you clean the surface though so all the acetone is removed, otherwise it may react to the spray.
Other than that you could do what someone else has suggested and cover it with stickers etc. Have a look at some craft sites, I know it sounds tacky, but you might just find something that will do the job.
I scratched my daughters pink mp3 player, and I put a little silver heart on it, and it looks like it has always been their, not out of place at all.
All the best.

Most nail polishes are best whatever like five% acetone. The immediately stuff will take the nail polish off, with out the oiliness that includes lacquer thinner or mineral spirits. But be warned, it's going to most often take a few scrubbing and the tile grout will consistently be stained.

throw it in the bin . Only kidding depending on where the stain is you could try covering the marks with an ornament or , failing that you could decorate it with something e.g. wallpaper or wrapping paper etc , no idea how to remove the stain and , to be honest , would probably make more mess if you tried , well i would anyway

Check if its covered under accidental damage on your insurance. Acetone won't remove a stain caused by spilling acetone or other solvent-based nail polish remover,

oops, is it made out of metal or wood? If it is metal try some mineral spirits or just cover it up with something. If it is wood re-stain it.

It is too late now. If you had washed it with water immediately you could have avoided any damage.
