I am travelling from London to Nice in the south of france and need to find the fastest way to get there.

It is an Aston martin DB7 , It was faster than the french train network . As was proved in the TV show Top gear when they raced from London to Monaco. It was also faster to drive than fly to the Swiss alps and to fly from northern Italy to London . All form of public transport have been beaten by Clarkson driving a car. Granted they are exotic supercars but still the facts don't lie.

fastest would be strapped to a ballistic missile, or in the backseat of a military fast jet, but then heither of those is practical...
depends where and when you run your timers
you could fly (I thin sleazy jet go to Nice from Stanstead, or possibly one of the other cheap airlines (try BA whilst you are at it if you book far enough ahead their prices can be OK) depends if you want to include the time taken waiting around at the airports and collecting your luggage + transit time to and formt he airport
failing that its going to be train, I think the TGV network has now spread as far as Nice

flying mate...have a look around the internet and you may well be able to get cheap flights from gatwick or heathrow in last minute offers. other than that itd have to be by eurotunnel and TGV
