If you didn't want or couldn't keep a baby,
what would you choose, abortion or adoption?
Ever notice how much alike those words are?

I can understand an unwanted baby. But I would give that baby a chance. If you don't want it, give it to someone who DOES want a baby. I know so many couples who desperately want a child and cannot have one. Let them have your child. Give them the joy.

Either way it's emotional unless you know what your doing is the right thing, it also depends on how far along you are that you realized you didn't want the baby, I feel that if your early in your pregnancy then an abortion will be ok, but if further along to were the baby has started to develop into a form then i would say Adoption, I have done both, the abortion wasn't that hard I was only 13 but the adoption was a little harder because I was 21 and 6 months when the baby's father decided to leave, but I knew I was doing the right thing and I got to pick out the family so I know he went to a good home. It just has a lot to do with your mind set and the development stage that your in.

Those two words may be alike in spelling but nothing alike in meaning. My best friend was raped and became pregnant. There was never any question in her mind that she should choose adoption. The child that was a result of something so violent didn't deserve to die just because some jack*** didn't know what the word NO meant. From what I hear the baby was adopted to a wonderful family, lives a wonderful life. She has no regrets. If this was me I would have done the exact same thing. NO BABY DESERVES TO DIE. NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION.

Take it from someone who has made a mistake, and basically had an abortion, I would choose adoption over abortion any day. The emotional ramifications after an abortion is horrible, the realization that you have killed a little child that didn't ask to be brought into this world, that didn't ask to be concieved. And, if your more than eight weeks, before you do anything, go get an ultrasound, and just look at the little cashew looking thing, and listen to your child's little heartbeat, then decide what you want to do.

I would never ever choose abortion! Who gives anybody the right to kill another human being. There are many people out there that are not fortunate enough to have babies and adoption is their only choice. I definitely feel that adoption is the only way to go. I just thank goodness that I was never put into a position like that. My children are my world!

You will never, EVER, get over having an abortion and not letting that baby live! I guarantee you that the guilt will lay heavy on you for the rest of your life...I decided once to have an unwanted child. He lives with me now at 16 and is the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me! I look at him every day and wonder how I could ever have lived without him! The rewards are many, the regrets are NONE! Good Luck.

Abortion and Adoption are similar sounding words yes, but the actions these words perform are diametrically opposite.

One gets rid of a child while the second gives a child to the parents.

Your query is in itself contradictory. If you did not want a child or keep a child, you will have to abort. You will adopt if you want a child, right?

So please clearly decide which one you want - to adopt or to abort.

I'd go with abortion.
Because I can't just give the baby up when it's already inside me for 9 months. It's gonna be so hard. So I opt for abortion that I don't have to feel the attachment. If I don't abort it, I'll keep it for sure cos I won't be able to give it up.

You may not want now but FOR sure you will need one one day and it`s better to keep the baby for companion reason....i`m against abortions........and i`m against adoption under conditions that the biological parents are alive....adoption is good for orphans.
