How much downtime is involved? How is the anesthaesia administered? Who preforms the op, a urologist or a plastic surgeon?

Usually a urologist. Anesthesia may be local (numbing) or clear up to general (totally asleep) depending on preference. Depending on the type of work that a person does, would determine how long off work. Probably no sex for 4-6 weeks.

It consists of mutilating and destroying a normal body part. It decreases sensation for the man and can be less comfortable for his woman as well. It is justifiable only in the extremely rare case of medical need. Once it is done, it cannot be undone, ever. There is no need for it for hygenic reasons, as good old soap and water is all that is needed to keep it clean.
Any woman who asks a man to do this because she thinks it "looks nicer" is selfish beyond belief!

Local Anesthetic, surgen, some GP's don't mind doing it in their surgery, and lots and lots and lots of time and complications. As the penis is extremely sensitive and when the helmut is no longer there, it's going to hurt !! No more protection from the outside world. So it's alot of getting used to. To start off with.
Is it really worth it? (Unless you are medically needing to do it)

Circumcision in the adult male consists of LOTS OF PAIN!!! Think about it...ya getting ya dinger skinned alive !!
I praise the ground my mom walks on for having me cut soon as i hatched. I don't remember it and don't want too!!
Just the thought of it makes him do the turtle!!!

Why would you ask such a question?lol i mean circumsized penis is a male thing not for girl's no offence.Im sure it's a surgeon who does it....But circumsized penis is much better then foreskinned penis..more pleasure.Younger is better to get circumsized being older will hurt alot.Not alot but really painful.Not that ive experienced it cause im a girl,but my bf has told me about it :D

in male circ,prepuce is removed.it depends either a religious or non.if rele.. a mohel does if non then a doc.
in females remov the skin round clitiros.

I'm glad I wasn't circumcised. I dont think I would forgive my parents if they cut off part of my body without my consent, even as an infant.
