hmmm, in theory it would be nice, but there's alot of things that are more important. I think in an ideal world I'd like to be married but... an open marriage... and probably not living together.

I got engaged to my ex of 5 yrs when I was 16! Im so glad it didn't happen in the end. I DONT want to be someones wife!

Im 21 now, and have been with my new boyfriend 3 years, we are monogomous. But have no intentioin of marrying for at least 10 years. This is so that we can concentrate on our degrees and our careers. Also I only see him a couple of times a month.

Its not so important to me to be half of a whole. I think some people use it as a means to identify themselves and objectify the the other person.

Marriage is not just for legal license to live together... It's neither be slavery ....
It's one of the great relation between Man and Woman ... The couple can share every joy and every sorrow ... that's why the partner is called as "best half"... some day no one stand besides you... no one care of you... but the husband/wife is the only one stands for you.
Here are many affections and many joys... you can't buy such great things with money even you are the richest in the world...

No. In the wake of serial monogamy, marriage is pointless. You can get married and divorced at your leisure. How this is any different than simple common law relationships is beyond me.

Unless of course you're out to protect yourself legally. That's a whole 'nother ballgame.

I am living with my boyfriend now, I do not want to get married to him (as much as I love him), because I have done that, been there, and never want to go back. Marriage to me is just another word for legalized slavery.

marriage is a wonderful institution (and many have said i should be institutionalized.) No, no no, in all seriousness I would certainly like to get married...again. For me it is about having someon to spend my life with (at least what's left of it). Some that is going to be there and someone that I can be there for.

Yes, I do, I want to continue the circle of life I want to contribute in a way I haven't before.....To have someone who will be a part of you, someone for whom you feel unconditional love,I haven;t experienced that before......A husband and children.....I want they to be the purpose of life...not something that I do and I feel pride of.....I want to experience true philosophy.....Family provides us with that......

Others can't give you this answer. It's too personal. Look inside.
