Since most people answered my "what is the point of cheating?" with to see what else is out there. Why backslide and go to something old that you've already had? If it was so good then why didnt they stay together?

This is a problem with human being. What you have in hand is always worthless when compared to what you don't have in hand.
This rule applied to the scenerio you have put forth. Many people don't know what they really want in their life. Negative approach towards life always highlights the bad points in partner and then good points in others are compared to get attracted to other person.
I think people don't hate wives, but the responsibility coming along.

Don't mind my being so blunt......but i feel that some men/women are comfortable with their ex's in most cases bcos they have already slept with them and have had mabye babies with them or maybe that they have done all that had to be done fought and resolved and things like that and there's nothing much left so when they come in contact it's more like meeting a old friend and going through old stories again......if u ask me it is dumb, but i;ve witnessed a couple like that and i don't understand it myself..

I never had a wife, but i have an ex husband and no way in heck i would cheat on now husband to go back to that...no way....

I dont see any point in cheating at all,with whom ever.Princesses comment is sad,i wonder how she would feel if she was cheated on,and whether she would ignore it if she was told "it was just for sex honey".
