I myself don’t usually go for them, and just get plain manicures. How many of you like the fake look?

i think it depends on where you work or if you work and how long you want the nails. i work around food so its not good for me to wear fake nails. I do on some occasions but i have to take them as soon as I get back to work.
if you choose to get your nails done try to find the best place you can get them. Try asking people were they got their nails done. Who sucks and who does a good job.
P.S. If you dont want your fake nails to look like fake nails just try getting clear tips and some pink with some clear nail polish. They look great but they dont look too fake.

i don't like them the thing is they look fake they don't even try to look real is like wearing socks in your bra. the nails are too long usually and too big especially those square shaped ones. some even go all the way with a 4 color manicure and stones which is awful.

I just always wondered how anyone could have nails so long that they could hardly really function. Consequently, I think fake nails look ridiculous. Also, I don't get it. Why paint them (whether they're natural or not)?

I think that fake nails are not the greatest thing... why not other means of beautifying yourself instead?

I think for special occassions they are great, I work with horses and keep my nails long isnot practical or possible.

well...fake nails and acrylics are quiet different...the glue ones are just so shady...but nothing wrong with acrylics....i think they have a nice groomed look and sometimes that's all you need to spice up your look.
