I know a woman who has had five abortions.
I don't feel like supporting her any longer.
Is it just me or does anyone else think abortion is the worst form of contraception in the history of the world?

My support consisted of just listening and holding my tongue I suppose.

Abortion is not a form on contraception and thats the problem... that some people think it is. 1 abortion is too many in my book (except if your life is in danger or pregnancy is a result of incest) Having 5 abortions is just plain disgusting. I would not support her either... obviously she has no desire to practice safe sex.

It is the worst form of contraception, I had one when I was younger and never again I had made the mistake. and since have not taken the risk not to use condoms or the pill. This women obviously has no pride in herself. 1 or 2 I can understand but 5 is way to many does she not learn from her mistakes. not just that but the way I felt after I wouldn't want to go though it again

Abortion should never be thought of as contraception, She is harming herself physically and pschologically, let her look for alternative , pre conception methods then there is less harm to herself and less killing, i also feel she may require help if you can convince her to see a counsellor and get the help she requires it may be difficult than keeping your tongue tied but you will have helped her more that way.

yes 5 abortions is way too much I believe. I have a friend who has had 2 abortions since i have known her and she has had more before I met her, the reality is that I don't agree with abortion at all and I think its so thoughtless, lazy, stupid and morally does not stand up to my standards at all, but that is my reality not my friends.
I can except my friend for who she is without pushing my my perception on to her as besides that she is a lovely women who is fun to be around, supportive towards my own discrepancies that she does not agree with either.
The thing that we do have in common among other things is that we can except that it is not for us to judge others on our human "faults" or as I like to put it "differences" but rather enjoy the qualities that keep us around the friendship and let god or the universe dispose of our differences that may not be so excepting.
good luck with you and your differences and your acceptance of your friends.

FIVE??? Abortion is not a contraception in any sense. I definatly wouldn't support her any longer, is she insane? How can she possibly think this is right? Dont support her in fact tell her exactly why you think this is wrong. Why do her doctors let her do this. Sounds like this girl needs help.

5 abortions is way too many ...see the biggest problem is people think of it as a coontraceptive when its is nothing more then an last chance. people need to realize that wether there is a soul or not in a childs body they are living in the womb. so esentually they are murdering someone

Abortion is not contraception. It is murder.

Your friend should have her head examined, and while she does that, they need to have her bottom examined also, because her legs keep opening too often.

Tell her my little tip: THE very best form of contraception is plain old aspirin.

You take the aspirin and hold it between your knees, squeeze them together, and then keep it there.

Its not exactly a fun procedure, why doesn't she save herself some money and pain and get an IUD, or better yet, a tubal ligation or essure? Plan B fer cryin' out loud.
I'm totally pro-choice, but baffled as to why she would choose that route?

Don't support her, she's obviously a rake in the grass.

What goes around, comes around. When she finally is ready to have children she probably won't be able to conceive. I definitely think that five abortions are way too many, one is too many!!

Abortion sounds an easy solution to terminate a pregnancy. But I guess like others, losing a baby might upset or led to trauma for having the guilt. She harming herself internally. Her chances of getting kids one day are rather slim, by then it's too late for her to regret.....
