Its that time of year when mice are looking for indoor places to build a nest. Likelyhood is that you have a mating pair looking for a home.

Now you've dashed thier dreams, relatives are unlikely to visit

This is a tough one. If you haven't caught any in 2 days, that doesn't mean that was all you had.

Unfortunately, if you found 2, there are up to 200 more lurking elsewhere. Mice breed like rabbits.

Keep the trap down there, even if you put your stuff back. It will catch others.

Find out how they get into your cupboard. If there are any holes at all (including around lights) fill them with brillo pads. They can't chew through them and they taste bad.

If you can find any passages from outside into the house or from inside the walls to any point in your house, brillo pads.

There's also a kind of live trap at Wal Marts called Mice Cube. You can catch them in those and take them to a natural environment at least half a mile from your home and release them.

Good luck. They are cute when they're not getting into your stuff, aren't they?

I caught a mouse this morning in my mouse trap..unfortunately this is the time of year that they come indoors so hopefully if your mice had a family should still be outside. (my local B&Q have sold out of mouse trap) they can get through a hole the size of a pencil so walk outside to check you have no holes in your walls and any plants near your house now are starting to seed which mice will also eat so you need to move them, .poison isn't a good idea they are very painful for a mouse and if you see it at the last stages it is upsetting and if they die outside you will also be killing birds or cats, mouse traps are quick and pain free.. to check to see if you have any mice still..before you go to bed,put a white piece of paper down near your cupboard with a few crumbs on it, next morning if there are any black specks (mouse poo) then you still have mice..good luck hope you get rid of them soon

You have only caught the parents. Approx 4 - 6 smaller ones may follow. I set traps with peanut butter then place the trap on a piece of paper. Give it a week and if you haven't caught any more you may have caught the only 2 that were around. Pesky little critters.

Depends. If they had babies, they will come out of the nest when they get hungry enough.

These buggers are even harder to catch because they are so light and dont trigger the trap.

The best result I had was when three baby mice all ate at the same trap at the same time and the combined weight of these mice set of the trap.

3 in 1.

there would certainly be more if all your kitchen cupboard stuff are outside and accessible to the mice. if they know food is abundant, they'll certainly breed like mad. don't hesitate to use poison. i did and i had a massive mice infestation. and always sweep away crumbs from the work surface in the kitchen as well as from the kitchen and dining room floors.

You can just simply scrub or scrape your cupboard. So as to get rid of the mice, mix a leftover food with rat killer and place it on the usual passage of the rats. I am sure, you can manage to stand the smell of the dead rats rather than having a rats' breeding place :)

Argh. Mice are cute. If you had more than one, chances are there are several (if they were young). I hope you didn't kill them? I had a mouse at my house(!) several years ago who used to annoy me at night making noise and steal my chocolate - yes mice love chocolate for some reason. It had climbed onto a shelf where it took lots of little bites into a small chocolate sitting there. I managed to get it out of the house by trapping it in a corner, picking it up from its tail and taking it outside. I hope it survived. I do love mice.

ur expected to set some traps and rat poison traps for like a week before you start using the cupboard, or try fumigating the flat, else you won't be able to chase them away for a long period... they may just come back after a while....
