Recently I have asked a lot of questions about politics. This is because three days ago I got in a fight with four guys who were picking on a muslim child who was about ten. Luckily the child got away but I broke my hand in four places. I just think it's terrible what the world is coming too and I wish people would stop hating each other.

It takes one hand to type. I'm living proof. It's a bit slow though.

Well done to you for standing up for someone else against outright bullies! I wish there were more people like you in this country. I'm sick of the hate and the divisions - I wish we could all just be people, regardless of creed, colour, sex or religion. Imagine what a wonderful world it would be. Hope your hand heals soon.

Well done. A child is a child, no matter what religion its parents have chosen for it or it has chosen for itself. I would like to think that no member of this society would walk past an innocent child being troubled unkindly by adults. Your action in protecting the child was selfless and worthy of commendation. In my humble opinion, you were not wrong and deserve an e-pat on the back!

You were absolutely right to defend the child against the harrassment!! I will pray to the God of all of us, Jews and Muslims and Jains and Christians and Hindus and atheists and Druids and all others, for the pain in your hand to be relieved. Nothing is as honorable as the defense of children. Always remember that in God's eyes you are beautifull and are loved eternally!

I agree. And it's all fueled by the media. I wish people would wake up and realise that. We shouldn't be hating each other, but if anything, using our negative energy against the media who are to blame for everything anyway.

No, you're not wrong. It's right to stand up for anyone who is being bullied regardless of race, religion, creed, sexuality etc. Surely if more people did this, everything would be simpler. (Actually it would be simpler if no one picked on anyone but we all know that's not going to happen!)
