I'm doing a poster on how desires become memories and in order for it to communicate well I need to know what different people think and feel about desire(s). I want the poster to communicate to a large audience. All your answers are appreciated. Thanks.

How desires become memories? Soo how you remember old things you wanted but never got, so you just remember wanting them? Or am I totally off? Well if I'm kind of on track, I would draw something displaying "unreachable" such as a stretched out hand or a small figure stiffened looking up at the vast night sky above him. A photo album with blank pages, or a checklist with only 2 or so of the boxes actually checked off as the rest runs long and blank.
Or you can have each image you do be inside a drawn picture paper representing the memories, and an organised looking photo album. Each desired memory that was never reached is piled unevenly and angled all directions with them all over the board and ontop of each other, displaying that even though you have all these photographs that you can look at, not all of them made it in the album.
Another picture you could draw is a time line, and underneath it, the key(like ones on a map). The key will have all these symbols and a word saying what they are, but when you look at the actual time line, very few actually occured.
It's always good to keep in mind that a big audience has plenty of individuals, and each of their desires are different. When they hear your topic of desires that become memories, they will remember their desires, so drawing things out as memories more than the desire will allow their act of reminiscing connect to the poster of remembering. And while they remember, the poster can push them towards one of their own desires and make them more interested. As long as the images are broad enough so they don't relate to a specific event ,but rather more, for example, like the timeline photograph I mentioned earlier, in the sense that it's only portraying the process of looking back and remembering their desires they never followed through with, and not reaching out to a specific memory, your presentation will be able to draw more interest.
By allowing your audience to connect with your poster, the communication you desire this project to have will speak for itself inside their memories.

A luscious fruit (I prefer oranges) on a high branch of the tree.

A long long road with something not quite visible at the end in the far misty distance.

A dog holding his leash, waiting by the door. .

An underwater photograph of a beautiful nude woman, floating serenely. Preferably low-light, not a lot of detail.

It fits all that I desire, beauty, weightlessness, water, dark, silence, and of course a little sex.
