can best friends of opposite sex be just friends? what if he/she falls for you and he/she is just a friend for you?

there is no way...when someone cross that line and want¸s something more, it¸s hard to be casually as before...you can stay friends but there will always be "something in the air"!

I believe they can be just friends if both of them decided to do so. It's hard cause the other person will always be around for you and whoever you meet will always be compared to your bestfriend but if in the first place, you already gave limits to your relationship then i guess there's no problem. If one day one falls for the other then again, its a decision for the both of you. Being bestfriends with someone is also a special relationship, if you cant be more than that then i guess its also something to be thankful for. take care!

If you consider yourself to be a good friend of the person that is falling in love with you. Just simply sit down, have a nice talk with that person, explain CLEARLY how you only wanted to stay the way that you guys are right now. Tell that person that you're not going to judge him or her on the appearance, because you feel like it's best if you guys stay in friendship. simple? if that person misunderstand you? pshh you tried :)

falling in love is the greatest gift of life,best friends can be very good lovers because the know each other in an out,they can understand each others feelings very well.there is nothing hidden between them.i am sure the would make a wonderful couple,if i was in such a situation i would definitely this friendship to the sacred bond of marriage.
