If she is throwing up a lot, you should maybe give her Pedialyte. It helps restore the electrolytes in children that they lose when they have vomiting and diarrhea. I do not know how to bring back a childs appetite, often when kids are sick, they just don't feel hungry.

This really isn't the place for asking your question about the baby. If you brought her to the doctor, and he/she said the baby should get better on her own but she hasn't you need to call the doctor.

When you said she's only taking milk and yogurt I wondered if she's getting teeth, but if she's vomiting afterward I don't think teeth would do that. Is there any chance your refrigerator isn't cold enough and the milk and yogurt are borderline-bad?

If she's been vomiting for only a day that would just seem to be a virus, but if she's been sick longer than that (three days or more) you really need some answers from the doctor.

Please call your doctor. Really - there's nothing anyone on here can say about helping the baby get her appetite back. If she's got a virus her appetite will come back on its own. If she has some other problem she needs the doctor. There's no medicine you should just be giving her on your own.

If babies have serious vomiting and diarrhea doctors say to give them Pedialyte to drink to help keep them fron dehydrating. It seems kind of unusual to me that she only takes the milk or yogurt because normally a sick child doesn't feel like having milk or yogurt.

What did the doc say? If she has a virus, it's normal to not eat much for a day or two. Just make sure she drinks plenty, and maybe invest in some pediasure so she can get calories that way. I'd call the doc back and express your concern. Will all the illnesses and diseases that end up being deadly these days, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Keep on top of fluids with water and pedialyte(you can get store brand) because young ones that age get dehydrated easily and that can cause even worse problems, and possibly have to be hospitalized. Think of how you feel when you are sick. You don't eat much either, right? That's what my doc always tells me.

She could have a temporary allergy to dairy products. Several of my neices and nephews went through a short stage where they were the same. I would suggest that if you doctor says she should get better, and she isn't, go to another doctor for a second opinion. Go until they find an answer or a way to help her. If that one doesn't do anything try a 3rd. Your daughters health is more important than you being a client that he wont help. She shouldn't be throwing up that much.
As I said, my neices and nephew did the similar... some had to go on Soy milk and other on a product called Silk. Try some of these in the meantime.
Good luck
