I do believe secondary/high is a VERY important stage, not because of education but in a social context, and a stage in "finding yourself". In the long run, it does get you into college, therefore makes you get jobs, have a life, etc. I actually think pre school is unecessary.

From experience! As much as you think that school is a waste of time. Please spend some time talking to a wide range of people who have continued there education and those who have not. The ones who have will probably not have much to say one way or the other. but those who are older and did not get a higher education will probably tell you that they kick themselves in the butt for not doing so! Then look at there quality of life!

Well.let me put it in this way.It is important aswell as not important. In my case I want to learn for doctor so important is zoology. But we have to learn all the other subjects especially history and geography other subjects are interesting for me but I hate those two subjects history and geography. For me secondary school bores in that way!

I saw a tee shirt on a kid coming from the local high school that I think says it all: "School prepares you for the real world, which also sucks."
