A QUESTION FOR PARENTS....
Your children are hanging from meat hooks bleeding to death. Your captor gives you the opportunity to save only one of your children. Which of your kids would you save and why?

Get my kids off those hooks.
Then I'll hang you by your a-s-s-h-o-l-e on those hooks.

well if they are already bleeding to death they would probably die anyway even if you could save one child the child would die from the wound already inflicted so you would not have a choice of who you would save. both children would be dead. If your not bound to meat hooks yourself your best bet would be to beat the hell out of your captor and stick a meat hook in him and let him suffer

Thanks for this thought provoking question. Even though I'm not a parent, it made me think about things.
I'm confident my parents would choose my older sister, instead of myself and my younger sister, because she is training to be a doctor, and has gotten good grades in school and always followed their rules, and not done anything that they would disapprove of.
This question drives home an important message that I wish was made apparent to me 10 years ago: It is important to become independant of your parents as soon as possible in life, follow your heart and do whatever you want to do with your life, even if your parents don't approve of it.
We didn't ask to be born, but we all deserve the ability to live life doing the things we want to do.
We aren't even really "their children." We are individual souls longing to find ourselves.

i would offer myself if he would let them both go. As a parent i could not ever imagine having to make that choice as i could not save one and let the other die no parent would as you would do every thing in your power to save both of your kids.

that's kinda like that movie..."Sophie's choice".....not real sure but in the movie the Germans are making this woman choose which child she is keeping the boy or the girl they are both very young and crying for her... one will be killed and the other is going where ever she is...and she choose the boy.......I guess for the name to continue and the blood line....going to have to check it out ..I hear its pretty good..

i think i would try to saving them both....i wouldn't be able to make a choice....i would try to exchange both of them with me...
if that wouldn't be a choice..i would save the younger one then kill the bastard..and think of killing myself....but i don't think i would be able to do that
p.s i would kill the bastard by skinning him alive and putting him in acid
