The easiest way is to search on your computer
(pc: start - search / mac: apple +F)
and type .xxx (xxx as in the extension the plugin uses),
then you'll find the folder automatically...

Be sure to put the brushes with the brushes, filters with filters, etc.
Close photoshop before you do this, otherwise it's possible you have to restart.
And some of those additionals you will have load in photoshop, I think filters become active automatically, but actions and brushes need to be loaded: example for brushes: select the brush tool, go to the button where you can choose the size/form of the brush (above in brush toolbar), click it once. then you'll see a palet, on the right, above there's a round button with a little arrow that points to the right, click this. you'll see a list, search for load brushes, then go to the folder you put them, select them en click OK...

That's it. You can use them in Photoshop now, have lots of fun!

If you go to Edit > Preferences > Plug Ins & Scratch Disks it should show you where, hopefully.

just paste them into
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 6.0\Plug-Ins\Filters
if they are filers
and restart software
