I've always wondered this. Why are some animals worth saving but others aren't? Why is a dolphin more important than a tuna fish? It doesn't seem to make any sense to me! Doesn't anyone care about the tuna?!

No, I think killing ants is a preventative measure. I don't want them stinging my son. A few already have and we had to put ant bait all over the house. The bites he had even looked as though they were infected, but after the pediatrician did a culture it turned out they weren't. Phew! So... see... killing ants is just a way to make sure my son doesn't get a staph infection.

I say no but i'm not a huge fan of insects in the first place. If you notice most peta/animal rights activists only worry about the cute and fuzzies...

Sometimes. When they come into my house I automatically go into killing mode because I feel like they are trespassing. But at the same time I feel like they were here first and I am trespassing on their territory so I'm kinda torn. And hell to the no I'm not with those jerks at PETA. Anyone that vandalizes another persons property should be charged and should have to pay to have that persons property replaced.

Actually, we should always have mercy on animals and never want to kill them as to your pleasure. I don't say killing ants is a murder but more on cruelty.
You should be kind to all animals so long as they do not disturb you. My religious believes you have no sin if you kill animals for food.

I think that someone who kills them just for fun is a little sick, but no, it isn't murder.
Oh, sure, I used to find ants and throw them in spider's webs, but that isn't because I hate ants, it's because I love spiders.
No, wait. I really hate spiders.
I guess I was just sick.

No, I don't think its murder, but still I hate to kill anything. I kill ants when they come into my home. I kill snails and slugs when they come into my garden to eat my plants. I hate having flies and gnats around too so I kill them if I can catch them.

No, I don't think it's murder. It's unavoidable to kill some insects, we step on them all the time while walking etc. We can't help it.
I DO think it's wrong though to kill insects just for fun. We shouldn't kill them when it's not necessary. It's understandable that we kill them when we're walking, because we can't avoid stepping on some, but if someone is actively trying to step on them or kill them in other ways, that's wrong in my opinion.
