Oh,, fifty at least,, do what ever you want.

The cat will be fine,,I have even heard they are microwave safe,, Meaning they will not hurt your microwave at all.

I think it depends on who the cat belongs to - if it's an ordinary cat then just 1. But if it belongs to Schroedinger then you won't know how many lives it has until you look to find out, so technically it could be an immortal cat and be in need of no lives at all.

If the cat is a pan-dimensional cat then possibly it has other lives in other dimensions that nobody knows about yet.

One- the saying a cat has 9 lives came about because of a cat's amazing ability to survive horrible falls and still survive. A cat's skeleton has more bones than the human body! The many bones cushion a cat's fall and help them from causing much internal or external damage.

It has only one life. It can however survive situations that may be fatal to some other animals such as falling from heights.

Well according to today's science it's one, but if you are talking in terms of Mythological, then it varys from greek mythology to indian mythology!!!
