A friend of mine is a security guard, who works out constantly and practices martial arts, he's a huge guy who could probably crush my neck in a second. His favourite movie is the Lion King.

Nope, you are free to choose whatever kind of movie you like. I am thirty years old and I still like disney cartoons. Do I care if people consider them childish? Nope. Why? Cuz I have to do what will make me happy. As long as the cartoons are not offensive in anyway, whats to be ashamed of??

NOt at all, I love them too although Im getting very fond of pixar these days
They are a way to switch off from the stresses of life and go into a fantasy land, they also take us back to our childhoods when things were so much simpler

its hard for me to admit, but i cry at the lion king everytime too. when mufasa dies im all like "what about simba? whats he gonna do now?" disney movies are cool and its not a folley to watch them. I think they actually releive stress becausethey bring you back to your childhood. Just tell your friends to shut up! disney movies are killer!

You are not weird. A lot of these movies are timeless classics. I would watch them anytime. Sounds like your mates are the weird ones.

No your not weird at all! Have you talked to your doctor about you not being able to not stop crying even though you want to? Your not weird though, please for godsakes don't get me wrong.
It can sometimes though, be a sign if you literaly can't stop yourself ,of mental illness. I would consult my doctor or at the very least see a vet.

lol my boyfriend is 21 and he is in love with them too. (probably related to some childhood problem lol j/k ) he owns like a million of them and recites them when we watch them. i dont like them that much. i mean i did when i was a kid, but damn. i do like lion king though
