Yes,Yes...
Iran,by signing the NPT has every right to a nuclear program as long as it is in peaceful purpose...Until now no one could prove that it is not...US is interfering in Iran's internal affairs. They have no right to tell Iran what kind of energy they should use...It's their own business...
And as long as they use it only for civilian purpose I think it's OK for Iran to have a nuclear program...

There is no problem with the Iranians developing Nuclear power. The problem is that they will not stop their breeder program to produce plutonium.
Just what we need a bunch of plutonium in the hands of a government that wants Israel wiped off the map. Even though Iran does not yet have the technology to build a nuclear weapon they can, right now, take that plutonium and make a dirty bomb.
Now the signature of the radio active isotopes are traceable. What do you think Israel will do (or any other country) when a dirty bomb is detonated in a highly populated area and the plutonium came from Iran?
What would the worlds Muslim's do when Iran was attacked?
Remember Iran had chemical weapons.
Remember also they used those chemical weapons.
What are Iran's intentions. Are they a peace loving country and a peaceful government? what about their involvement with Hezbollah?
If AMERICA is the only country that is concerned about Iran's atomic program then it is the only country that truly wants sustainable peace in the region.

No because they want to make it to get atomic weapons, and nobody believe their lies. Nodoby refuse them the right for an atomic program, if it is a civil one. Iran refuses it as such. EU made months of proposition with only one constraint: that the enriched uranium they get cannot be used to build a nuclear weapon. They refused it again and again. So the question is biased, you should ask: do they have the right to make nuclear weapons... Answer is No. Because:
They publicly said that Israel should not exist. They publicly said that the killing of millions of jews was a myth.
So we can easily understand why they so deeply need enriched uranium AND what they will do. NB: I am not jewish so it's not personal here.
2nd point: Iran is one big provider of weapons to islamic terrorist groups, especialy in Lebanon. Suppose they can also provide even small amounts of weapon grade uranium. No city in the world will be safe after that.
The main goal of Islam is that the whole world is muslim. And the war (djihad) is a licit way to achieve this goal for this peaceful (as they say) religion. And people in charge in Iran today strictly apply all islamic principles and goals.
So is obvious that, if they can produce this uranium, they will provide it to anyone will help this global program. This is why no city in the world will be safe.
Pakistan already has nuclear weapons, but so far they do not intend to extend sharia to the world, but only to be strong against India.
Iran obviously will want. Of course, if such thing happens, we (non muslim people who certainly don't want to convert) will not accept it. The current countries having a nuclear weapon do not have ideologic reasons to use them, so the chances are that they will not use them. Iran has ideologic reasons to use them, and when we see today that a simple quote criticizing the djihad sparks huge reactions even among "moderate" muslims (including killing), we can see what islamic ideology can result in. So if they can use it, on the contrary of current nuclear powers, they will use it. Such ideology does not let people understand all consequences of what they do.
And if they use it, take my word that we will not let. Even if they can have 1, or 10 towns destroyed, and even if they do it undercover (probable), we will find out from where it came, and the obvious result will be destruction of Iran first, and very probably a global fight against muslim countries and probably against muslim residents (unless they clearly choose their camp, which I doubt).
So, for the sake of everone's life, and especially of muslim and iranian people's, it is not their right to have a nuclear weapon program.

No it is not Irans 'right' to have a nuclear program. International non-proliferation treaties have disuaded development of programs in all countries that did not have them. Problem with Iran is that it is not trustworthy.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claiming he wants a program for power generation is about as believable as North Koreas Kim Jong Il claiming the same thing less than ten years ago.
Adding to the untrustworthiness is Ahmadinejad's own admission that he wants Israel annihilate. How does he plan to do that? With nuclear power plants? Doubtful. Throwing rocks at them? Or with a nuclear bomb? Answer = nuclear bomb.
America is not interring in Iran's matter but doing what so many other nations of the world today refuse to do; what's right. The international community has already spelled out the confines of future programs and Iran has proven it's untrustworthiness; internal instability; yearnings for aggression; and desires for hostile force against it's neighbors.
Iran has as much right to a nuclear program as your neighbor has a right to sleep in your bed. Question is, does your husband have the courage to throw him out?

The "Nuclear Watchdogs" have specified that Iran is not anywhere near the enrichment state needed to produce a nuclear weapon.
Therefore they are in full compliance, despite any crude remarks made by the government.
If it is considered safe for the United States to enrich uranium, and for Israel to purchase two brand new nuclear capable submarines for their arsenal to protect themselves against any "Acts of Genocide". Then who is the United States to say who has the right to produce what, where, and when.
You have to ask yourself "What was the United Nations founded for?"
Every nation is built with a specific thought in mind; sovereignty.
Although every country has it's right to a "Foreign Policy", why do es the United States have to be so selective in who they pick their disputes with?
While the United States is launching bombs on Baghdad, the leader of North Korea is threatening to attack the United States with nuclear weapons (He actually put it in much better terms...).
But I do see a point; conflict of interest.
It is not the United State's job to police the global community.
When a government who deems democracy the best remedy, decides to commision a cruisade to keep the peace. They should at least be able to pass a bill through congress that their own citizens actually wanted in the first place. When soldiers are getting killed, and congress is pushing laws against flag burning, and defacement through the building like there's a fire at the front door, I believe it is time for some other country to step in, and form their own interim administration.
So ask yourself, "Why put Iran under such critism for an atomic program?"
It's only fair.

Right is what one is suposed to do without breaking the Laws. But Laws aren't to be broken, and laws are not to prohibit what is right. I think Iranian atomic program can be right to Iranians but what is it for? I for making nuclear weapons then atomic program by anymeans is not Iranian nuclear program isn't right for them. This is what the President George Bush and other leaders are fearing. Because if such things if made then the right of other people of living will be threatened, because of this uncertainity then I can not say that Iranian nuclear program is right for Iranians. We don't know what will happen after they have constructed such plant's and remember "Prevention is bettere than cure."

If Iran only built nuclear plants, nobody would oppose. However, they don't let international inspectors check the plants... that is suspicious, isn't it? Secret services have probably more information than we do.
Now add that even though Iran is a democratic country, the leader talks about destroying another country (Israel), and they supported terrorists (giving weapons to Hezbollah).
I oppose Bush's policy of force, but Iran is really an international threat.

Yes, definitely. Iran has never displayed aggression towards any other country. Iraq war was a defensive one. The only country that regulary displays aggression and interferes in other's business already has an arsenal. Even if Iran does make a nuclear bomb, it will be to defend against America's aggression. Dont they have the right to defend themselves?

I certainly believe that if any nation use this power in proper ways then its their right but we should of course oppose them if they use it as a weapon.Iran is not making any nuclear weapon.that's why it's their right.
If bush has any evidence to prove that Iran is trying to missuse nuclear power then the UN wil take step. But why cant he show any evidence to prove Iran wrong. He is just violating the world without any reason.he just proved himself as a killer in the last wars against Afganistan and Iraq.what did he try to do??just take the lives of innocent peoplesn nothing what is their problem i cant understand.does he want to rule the whole world???he just not only inerfairs in Iran's matter,he sends groups to notice how is the condition in our country(bangladesh) before the vote.thats why i hate bush.he should not interfair in other countries' matter.he is now being treated by not only the other countries but also by americans.
USA possess nuclear weapons who is going to interfair in their matter???is bush really wanting to be a ruler of the whole world???

Right is right when there is no bad intention. Otherwise might is not always right. However, if Iran really wants its atomic program to produce energy then yeah they have right to develop atomic programs. This world belongs to all, so for productive work should be encouraged but for unprodutive and hazardous works should be punished. America's interference is not good. US should provide chance to other nations to develop self dependency in all matters. US actually don't want other nations to become super power in terms of economy, arms power and development. Its not good I think. World is the place where all kind of creature exists, so each has its own right to move towards its higher prespective.
