What is it about men that whenever thry see a woman on net they think that she is here for sex or is on cam or whatever?

Leave the cyber off and its the same reason. They are men and were put here to continue our species and have a strong drive to do that for as long as they live. I think its a little bit "overkill", but thats just me. I think because you can't see them they feel a little freer to approach you for cyber sex. I'm sure their imaginations have gone wild too and gotten them all revved up.

One of man's greatest fear is rejection (aside from commitment). When a guy enters the world of "virtuality" through the internet, he has several advantages. These guys are usually shy, not confident, not very attractive (and they know it), involved in unhappy or unfulfilling relationships, jobless, ect. In short, they're NOT TOP PICKS for most desirable bachelors. Ah, but when they're online we wouldn't know him from Brad Pitt! We also have no way of knowing if they are indeed who they say they are! They wouldn't normally stand a chance in real life so this is their way of toying with a fantasy fling. If the other woman online rejects or doesn't welcome his invitation to cyber, it's easier to handle if he's behind a monitor and keyboard as opposed to an embarrassing real life encounter. These types of men know very well that there are many, many, many ... (let's call them) CYBERSLUTS. There are plenty of women who ALSO get a cheap thrill from engaging in this type of behavior. Unfortunately, these cybersluts make a bad name for the rest of us women who have higher standards of moral behavior and real lives.

a lot of men in online chatrooms are looking for a cyber "pal"...they probably don't have anything better to do than bother uninterested gals.

Because men don't get on the internet fot informative purposes. they only get on it for pleasure purposes. For men, it's all about 2 things: sports and sex.
