Where can I get the optimal firmware for my dvd burner?

I got nec nd 3550A burner.

Unless your having MAJOR problems with your NEC drive, don't bother with firmware. It can make your drive totally useless and ruin it. Firmware upgrades are a source of last resort, if everything else you try to get the drive functioning again doesn't work. If you use firmware upgrades, your drive's warranty becomes null and void.
