I have attended an international seminar on Tsunami where the Japanese consulate explained that they advised their people to move away from seashore or to a high rise building as soon as they senses the earthquake waves even before the Tsunami warning is issued. That is what I did on 26th Dec 2004 at morning 2 hours before Tsunami struck our Indian coast. Because I sensed very feeble earthquake wave for 12 minutes with the use of simple equipment I designed. I know as per the concept of Richter scale that is also from very big earthquake. Seismologists do not understand the way I issued the warning or they pretend as if they don’t understand. I don’t know. I never claimed that I can predict earthquakes. But I can sense the wave before people sense it by the quake alarm and other instrumennts I have designed and available with me.

The fault is the right approach. Before going to our indian department, you should have displayed your invention before public with some small publicity. Naturally, the media come into your rescue by putting them in their news columns and thus our so called department would have approached you instead of you approaching them. I think you will remember the case of herbal petrol. He never approached petroleum department for it. he experimented and he displayed before the public and then he came to limelight. Likewise better you search for publicity dear then see how it works..... but never be tired.... continue your inventions..... our country needs you.... today or later you will be recognized.... best of luck

I don't think anyone can really claim to have evaluated every idea proposed to them. Most Christians and atheists dismiss out-right a conspiracy theory of JFK being assassinated by aliens. We haven't evaluated those ideas specifically, but we feel perfectly comfortable dismissing them. I don't know the context of what Mills was saying, but if it were me, I would only go so far as to say the idea of a personal God, like Yahweh or Zeus is self-evidently ridiculous. (I think I've even used those words.) Designoid items in nature might seem self-evidently designed. But you can make a case against an idea that seems intuitive by presenting evidence. If theists present a compelling argument for why Yahweh exists, it would no longer be self-evidently ridiculous.

Elihu Thomas was a high school teacher who observed that static electricity built up around the high school when his students used a copper wheel to make electric arcs. Elihu pointed out that these are the waves that Maxwell predicted. Tesla heard of this and showed a radio controlled boat at the Chicago Worlds Fair. To this day Professor Hertz, megahertz, gets credit for 1st observing this phenomena, as Marconi gets credit for radio. But keep your head up, India, and the world needs people like you.
