Depending on what medication they put you on.
Provera is a 10 day pill that will cause your body to work naturally, having a period. It can make it easier for you to get pregnant, therefore doctors suggest that you don't attempt to get pregnant, as the medicine could harm the baby.
Birth control is another method of medication they give to assist with irregular periods. But this medicine, acutally prevents, or attempts to prevent pregnancy while getting your periods back on a normal track.

If you're on the pill you are not likely to get pregnant. I'm just wandering why the pill didn't regulate your periods. And why your Dr. would prescribe another med instead of switching the pill? I know that some of the brands of bc pills I've taken have either made my periods worsen or lighten up or stop altogether. But never in all my 14 year history with infertility or prior to that did my doctor(s) prescribe the pill and then something to onset my period. And never would I have just popped these prescribed pills without properly being advised of my condition and the affects of the drugs that were prescribed.
Take some responsibility for your health and don't just ingest anything the doctor gives you without first investigating or getting a second opinion. Dr. are trained, but they are also human therefore can be wrong or in some cases more than too eager to shove prescriptions down our throats because they get kick backs ($$$$) for prescribing certain RX. Which is illegal, by the way.

That question cannot be easily answered. We would need to know what diagnosis you have and which medication you are taking for it.

Some women on medicine for amenorrhea (no periods) can get pregnant while on or off the medication. Others cannot. From the little you've told us, there's not enough information to even guess which category you fall into.

I am wondering what condition you have to not get a period? PCOS? Seems to be everywhere. Chances are you won't get pg on the pill. If you want to, talk to your dr about alternative therapy to make you ovulate.
