It's almost not fair to stop WIllie's bus because you have all the probable cause you need when you see his face on the side of the vehicle. But he's not dealing. He probably uses that many psyilocybin mushrooms in one omelet.

Nelson was busted with 1.5 lbs of marijuana and .2 lbs of mushrooms in Louisiana, which is where he was issued the citation. His bus was pulled over and the police officer smelled marijuana (of course) as soon as he began speaking to the driver, which is probable cause to conduct a search. LA has slack marijuana laws, which is good for Mr. Nelson. Up to 60 lbs is simple possession, so he won't do any time and he'll pay a fine of about 500 bucks. In many states, anything over 1 ounce is enough to be convicted of intent to distribute, so he was lucky to be caught in Louisiana.

No it would be wrong. the only probable cause they had in stopping him was they knew they'd find something because he is Willie Nelson.

Knowing Willie, a pound would fall under the "personal use" rule.

No, he was not dealing. Not true unless you had the materials that go along with sales of narcotics, baggies, scale etc.
