I believe the Simpsons movie that's currently in production will probably end the series, but I have no evidence for that. Just a hunch.

It's true some of the new episodes seem to try too hard to be funny. But you can't kill the simpsons. Even if there are no new episodes, the networks are going repeat them again and again, and again......

I didn't even know that still came on!!! I used to love The Simpsons though! Itchy and Scratchy was a cool cartoon on the show!

oddly enough i do find it funny still. heh.
however i would like to kill of a few of the freaking soap operas that are getting totally out of hand....

I never liked them. They're the ugliest cartoon characters ever, and the laughs are few and far between. Totally overrated.
