I don't know if anyone knows what is the most common vehicle in the world or ever will, that type of thing is very difficult to keep track of. But Toyota sells more cars than any other company in the world. A good guess would be the Toyota Corolla.

This is a tough question. In 1916 there where only a few car manufacturers and very few models to choose from. In 2006 there are lots of car makers and a wide variety of models. I'd say that the Volkswagen Golf is the most common vehicle today as it has been sold in the number of millions. Also the Peugeot 205/206 is a very common model (at least here in Europe)

The next one I will say may be either the honda civic or toyota corrolla.
