I was hypnotized to help me quit smoking. I haven't smoked for eight years now. Why were you hypnotized?

Someone tried to hypnotize me once and he couldn't do it. It was in a theater and he made people make fools of themselves. I sure did not want to be making the show for him. ( smile ). He tried several times and gave up. He said my will was stronger than his. I stopped smoking cold turkey ( smile ) So perhaps the man was right! Congratulations for your quitting smoking. I would never smoke again. It is 7 years now, and I think it stinks ! It makes me realize what my friends went through when I was smoking and they didn't.

I was hypnotized to lose weight, but I did not lose any weight. My friends mother who went with us was doing it for smoking reasons and she had not smoked since and it was over 15 years ago. I did not believe in it when I went there, but he must have hypnotized all of us because finally he woke us up and I was standing with my hands in the air and did not remember how it happened.

I went to see a stage hypnotist perform and he tried to hypnotize all people within the room, but it did not work on me or my pal Ken since we're too strong-willed, and this used to be at about 1 a.M... ^.^"

I tried it to quit smoking. I can't be hypnotized though..... she told me that some people can't be. Congrats on quitting!! I have to find some other way to quit.

I was hypnotized in grade school. It was for fun, I freaked out and got suspended. It was UNpleasent. Thank you for the question :)
