The chances of a home pregnancy test giving you a true result prior to your missed period is VERY slim. Be patient, and if you go past day 29 or 30 without a period still, then do a test. Of course the test your doc can do is the most accurate, so call him and ask for orders to get blood work done.

It take 3 weeks for the tests to come back positive if they will, with a hpt. Blood tests are the same. Take the hpt if you think you are pg and if you are, go to the dr to pinpoint how far along. Sometimes you can have implantation bleeding that mimics a period. Good Luck

I started on Aug 30 too. So I already know your dates, because I want to test too. I would say if you buy a good test like first repsonse early dection then you could probably test this coming Monday! Wait at least 10 mins b/f you give up. Even the faitest line means you are prego!

Best of luck.

you need to wait till your period is late ,only a day or so ,the test will work after the first day of your missed period but not before.just try to relax and wait.

You need to go and get checked so that you know for sure. You do not need to wait at all the test will know before your body even knows.
