Most likely, not a joke, however since another co-worker let the "cat out of the bag" it sounds as though your crush is going to deny it in hopes that you do find yourself questioning the validity of it. If she currently has a boyfriend, don't over step your boundries. A crush doesn't always lead to anything serious, if it did me and my mother both would be married to Brad Pitt!!!!
