If you think you're going to get answers to this question, you'd probably never ever get out of that state! Try finding some answers on your own the 'hard' way. Look at Steve Irwin. Did you think he was ever bored? He was always out in the real world.

We are not bored when we find things that entertain our egos. People without egotistic centers find themselves being interested by many things.

I think that boredom is a result of a frustrated mind...somehow, the mind contemplates available possibilities, does not find any gratification in them, and the resulting feeling is that of boredom

Because after we see enough of do enough of something, we understand it, and we constantly want something new, to feel different, to set goals.
But mostly because we want something to make us feel different and more amazed, or it's just a wish to know other experiences.
