I hate it, I feel like I never know where to start, where to end, if it’s going on evenly.. Like my neck- how far up do I go? Because I don’t trust myself to do my face, but I don’t want a big white line etc. so I just go tanning. But I would really love to know how everyone does it without having problems.

Well, I don't really worry about those details. The important thing to remember is to use a self-tanner that will not make any streaks on your skin. You don't want patchy legs and orange hands. I use Jergen's Natrual Glow tanner, and its great. It gives me a good tan, it comes in 3 different shades, and it doesn't make your streak or turn orange. Just start anywhere and make sure to blend the cream in all over, but go light on your knees, elbows and ankles (it will get darker in those areas)!

If you're using a spray self tanner, make sure that you're holding it about 30 cm away, if you feel the moisture come out of the spray, than you're holding it too close. You can get self tanners that are specifically for the face, I would recommend using the face one for your neck. You might find that for your face and neck, using a lotion instead of a tanner, it's easier to blend and if you get one of those gradual build self tanning lotions, they are harder to stuff up and if you notice any white patches, just put some where the white patch is, it will help blend it in. To prolong the tan so you don't have to do it so often, make sure that you moisturise, it will help keep the fake tan looking fresh. With the face and neck, getting a good bronzer may help as well, but you would have to do it more often than a fake tan.

You need not to go for tanning. Just live a healthy natural life with natural diet. Use cucumber for no-marks. Have good eating habits. Use whole-wheat flour and green vegetables.

I also use Jergen's Natural Glow Moisturizer. They have three shades of facial moisturizer to go with the body moisturizer.

have you read the statistics on tanning? you are microwaving yourself. STOP. My dad died of skin cancer at 32, and he never went. You are killing yourself and if you continue you are stupid
