another vote for thorsten frings here. miro klose mostly gets the recognition he deserves from people who really know the game (even though i of course won't be satisfied until he's voted world footballer of the year, what kudos for him and werder ;-)), but frings is very overlooked. he has proven countless times how good he is, just think of his goal against costa rica, or, in negative terms, what his absence against italy caused. he won't be given his dues as long as he has ballack next to him, not because ballack is so much better as a player - he isn't - but because he has model looks and plays for glamour clubs whereas frings looks like a hippie and hated being with a glam club so much that he returned home to werder bremen after one season. well, we're happy to have him, he'll never be underrated by the banks of the weser! ;-)

Thorsten Frings. With Ballack in the Team....he is never mentioned, but let me tell you....Germany really missed him in the semi-final of WC 2006. Look at how they played against Sweden and then against Portugal with him in the team.
