If you're getting a whole computer, most of them will come standard with a DVD-RW (duel-layer). The burners out there are mostly the same. I picked up a LiteOn for less than $40 at PC Club. NewEgg has good deal on everything too.

Just simply go to hardware shop and select the fastest dvd writer avaiable in the market and fix the same on the computer you are going to buy.

its not easy to deside. but always care about BUFFER memory,Speeds,quality,known disks and formats,write technologies and methods,and etc.........i recommend you to buy a NEC DVD writer becouse i have one and its grate at all with suitable cost.
