I read in a trade magazine about British tv shows and one was with Adolph Hitler being portrayed as a family man with a wife and kids. It was a sitcom. Was there such a show and how did the viewers react?

There was a one off pilot show - too controversial to turn into a series.

It was called something like "Hiel Honny, I'm Home"

It was set in America after WW2. Hilter and wife lived in an apartment block, his neighbours were a jewish family.

The clip I've seen was quite funny, but not very Politically correct, and couldn't have been strung out for more than a few episodes.
