Go to tools menu - internet options and press clear history and all the url's in the address bar would be deleted. To clear all the cookies & files you have to press the buttons delete cookies & delete files.

If you are using Windows XP or windows9X then
- Go to control pannel
- click on Internet Option
- Click on "Clear history" [and set it on "0" optional]
-Delete cookies
-Delete files
If you did this much, your old history files and temoprary internet files will be deleted.

under IE, click on Tools Menu->Internet Options, look for History and click the Clear History button.

Tools, Internet Options, Content, AutoComplete, Clear Forms......This will erase your search history.
