there is really one one real solution: all parties must come to accept the reality of what is. first, do a dna test. second, he doesnt HAVE 2 marry anyone regardless. if its his, he does have to support it. then U hafta decide if thats a relationship you can accept. if it is not, then it will b time 4 u to move on because if its his, it will always be his. good luck.

in the first place no one can demand anything from you if you don't want to do it. in the second place why is it such a shock that a man can have had a child with some female he decided to bed with out protection. Hummmm. What are the chances? third if he never knew about it he can;t be blamed forwhat he had no knoledge of. and last what do you think he should do or how do you think he would react if you had maybe done something like that to another guy and was his girlfriend now I mean that is HIS past not your present with him now.

This should be simple .. but, wouldn't it be better for him to ask for a paternity test before assuming. The situation is iffy.. she left him and didn't bother telling him that she was pregnant. i don't of any girl that wouldn't seek the guy out to let him know she was having his baby.
Why would he , your bf demanded that the bf marry her? Is it that he hopes to cover up something, did he know?? you better check his story out again. You should insist that he gets a paternity test done, the sooner the better...

Really might depend on how old the child is.
But, if he was my boyfriend and had past lover/s it's something to consider might come up! (I know a married couple that this happened to, the guy found he had a daughter when she was about 12yrs!)
It would be his choice to decide to marry her, if he once had felt strongly enough about her and wanted to make it work...
I'd understand, but be very heartbroken.

Marrying her, she can't do anything on that unless he wants it like that... never marry for sake of child. Only marry if you really do love eachother and want to make it work.
Only thing she can do is go for child support. Regardless of her going away... but thats messed up she never told him.

Gotta remember, do you want the luggage of a child that isnt yours? The child support (possible) fights? Do you want to be in that situation? Are you okay with the idea of him already having a kid? If you just answered those with a "no" you might want to reconsider the relationship...

I would not want the responsibility of another person's kid, especially if I was thinking of marrying the guy and starting my own family.
