A ten year old should not be wearing make up. Why in the world would a parent want their child looking older than they really are??? They grow up fast enough as it is. Parents should care...That is the problem these days..parents not caring.
Sad....so sad.....:(

I was in the first grade when I started playing with my mom's makeup. I even wore it to school from time to time. My mom never minded because she knew I wasn't trying to look older to be something I'm not. I thought makeup was fun. I'd intentionally come up with crazy looks because I could and I was trying to be creative. If it looked bad, oh well. I retain some of that attitude today. I still think makeup is fun to play with. I don't usually do the same look twice. I love checking out new colors and seeing what I can come up with. Naturally, I'm a lot more sophisticated in my makeup application now than when I was a kid. I hope I always retain my joy in the fun of makeup... =)

I started when i was 8 wearing a little lipstick.. by 10 eyeshadow and lipstick, then a year later rouge... and then by the time i was in high school, around 14 it was pretty much a full face of makeup. Except i didnt start wearing eyeliner until i was around 17. But even now at 21 i dont really wear it. I think its sweet when you see little girls wearing a little bit of makeup. it makes them feel pretty and feminine and there's nothing wrong with that. you just have to make sure they dont get too carried away with it too early on. thats what parents are for!!

I wasn't allowed make-up growing up, but my mother did let my late paternal grandmother put some on me for fun. I did get to wear some for my eight grade graduation.
I did, however, got away with nail polish as a teen.

Funny, as a teen, I wanted make-up, but couldn't wear it, but as an adult, like 18, I didn't desire it except the nail polish. I did, however start wearing it at the request of my ex, and it's fun. But I still be mostly fresh faced.

Not when I was 10. That's so young, and honestly I didn't care about my looks when I was that little.

My mother could have cared less, but my dad wouldn't let me wear it even in high school. I'm 21 now and I still doesn't approve.

My litttle sister wore makeup when she was little and lets her daughters wear it now. And they are just graet with good taste.

I have heard tales that some clowns are actually born with make
up ... but it's probably just an urban legend or circus folk lore ...
