By now, I'm sure everyone has heard of Mary Winkler; the woman who killed her preacher husband in TN. Ok, when she was first interviewed by police she said she did it. Then she told her attorney that she had postpartum depression. Now, they are trying to say she did.

Here's my thoughts on it... she could've had it. She did have a one year old. However, did she ever tell anyone that she even THOUGHT she had it? Did she seek any help? NO. So why is she trying to say she does now?

Do you all believe her story or think she's trying to keep her @$$ outta prison?

There are chemical and hormone level test that can be taken to see if that is the case. I am sure that if her defense is going to be ppd then they will have to prove it. mental illness is not something that people go around talking about to everyone they meet because most people think they just need to straighten up and get their act together. people who suffer from chemical imbalances in their brain are so often miss understood that they just stop talking about it and try to hide it as long as possible. Being the wife of a pastor also has huge responsibility's. you are expected to listen to and help fix everyone Else's problems but you are not supposed to have any yourself

She's following the advice of her attorney. Attorneys lead, defendants follow. Over the long run, the judge will order a psychiatric examination, they'll find she had some kind of bipolar or post-partum depression as you said, or they'll say she was "temporarily insane" and on and on and on.
Then people will come from all over and in the woodwork and tell everyone how good a person she is.
Maybe her husband DID assault her or hit or or whatever he was supposed to have done.
Maybe he didn't
so we let the courts decide
Sometimes they are right
\Sometimes they are wrong.

"Jesus Christ came to her in the dreams and ordered her to murder her preacher husband!"

Above version could be better one, compared to postpartum depression etc.

No Physician / Preacher can cross check and comment on this. People have great mind but are not using it properly to kill the law!!!!!!
