I have come across this a few times. It may not be your battery. When you turn your key into the run position, just before the start, does everything else work as it should? Radio, lights and so forth? Turn your headlights on then try starting it. Do they go dim? Sometimes it is not the battery at all. As in more than one case, the starter was going out. When I'd hit the switch, nothing would happen, not even a clicking sound. The next time or two that I tried, it would start. It could also be in the switch itself. Not as common as a problem, but still a possibility. Its pretty easy to have your battery load tested. I am not saying it isn't your battery, but before someone sells you a battery, and then later find out that it was something else, adding to your repair bill, spend $5-10 and have someone load test your battery, it could be money well spent.

Just buy a new one....batteries only cost about 50 dollars....thats pretty reasonable...and if that one keeps dying, take the car to the shop and let em look at it, might be a fuse problem.

Could be it may need water if it's an older battery or it is a bad spark plug wire. Check to see if your alternator is holding a good charge, then charge your battery at a shop, and see if that is really the problem.

Sounds defective. I would get a knew one. You don't want to be stranded. But it would be a good idea to check with a mechanic. There could be something wrong with the electrical. Or maybe something might be loose.

It's either your battery connection or your starter.
