i started saying hi to this shy and kinda nerdy guy, and now whenever he sees me he AWKWARDLY comes up to me and goes," HI!!!" its ok if he's just saying hi, but i sense i different message. like hi, i really like u and i think u like me too...but i really dont
and day by day im like, plz dont confess.
i want him to know we're just friends. in a nice way. i want to say," you're not my type" cause i think he likes me. wat to do!!!!!!

I usually like telling the whole truth, but Kozaka's answer is the best white lie I've seen, and as a man I can tell you this would be acceptable if I thought it was true, and it would do the trick.
You probably just need to see how things go now, and do what seems right in the moment.
Things that happen like this are all little trials and learning experiences that happen in life.

This homely girl started saying "Hi" to me because of my brilliance and computer skills and good looks. Now it's like she stalking me and just wanting to "connect our laptops". I told her I'm a Mac and she's a pc, so it wouldn't work. Now she follows me around and when someone is within earshot, she starts yelling, "I said we're just friends. Your not my type."

So the next time he says Hi to you...smile big and say Hi right back and tell him that you are so happy that you said hello to him because he looked like he needed someone to break the ice and offer him friendship...and thank him for being your friend. That'll get the point across...and if he looks confused...start the next line with...So Friend of mine...There is this guy in my (whatever class he's not in) that I like and I think he is going to ask me out...are you happy for me or what???

This is the simplest advice I can give you.
Tell him next time you see him about your boyfriend and what he did for you last night.
Say something like you went to dinner with his parents and had a great time, or something to that extent.
