Why not reward rating answers? I also kind of like rewarding the first anwer, but not the first answer period. I mean the very first answer that you decide is good. That would be worth 5. If your answer is Best First, you'd be no longer elgible for Best Overall to keep down on padding.

I think people should gain or lose one point for a thumbs up or a thumbs down. So many outright stupid questions and even dumber answers...it'd be nice to know they lost a point for giving them a thumbs down.

Get points for having highly rated questions - also would like a feature (maybe impossible) to filter out certain types of questions based on keyword or just being obnoxious.
