i mean like if someone starts earlier, and she's still like really short, she's not done growing right? yes, im talking about myself. i am almost five feet and umm... i have started my period two years ago. my friends are like all at least three more inches taller than me but they have just recently started! so does that mean im done growing? or they? we are all 13

Girls grow at different rates, and their heights are determined by geneitcs, not the # of years after they start their periods. Look at the adults in your family to get a good idea of how tall you'll be, a few generations back too. My mom is 5'7", but my dad's 5'9" (average, but a little shorter than the men on my mom's side). I ended up 5'6", at 16, but started my periods at 13 1/2. My sister started at 11 1/2, and stopped growing at 16 too, at 5'7.5" ...

You can continue to gain in height and development until age 24, 30 for males. Remember, it all happens when you're sleeping, along with your brain storing what you've learned, your muscles re-oxidize, and your immune system regenerates. You should still be getting 10 hours of sleep, and no less than 8.

You'll probably grow a little more for a year or two....but probably not a lot more.

its different they r growing quikly if they started there period.
