I will get it to a shop but i am just trying to get a glance at what the problem is

If your losing power, as you press on the gas, it's most likely the fuel filter is clogged and the engine is starving for fuel.

Other possibilities that are fuel related are the fuel pump is clogged, the fuel pump is going out, your carburator is clogged (if it's carburated), your fuel injectors are dirty, your fuel pressure regulator is not keeping pressure in the fuel rails.

I'd also test to be sure that you are getting good compression in all the cylinders with a compression test.

how much mileage is on the car? and also have you changed the fuel and air filters and what about the fuel injectors when did you have them cleaned? when did you change your O2 sensor last?
